Summary: 

Serves as project coordinator for the Fremont County Department of Public Health Grants. Provides project and administrative support of a highly varied and responsible nature, tracks deliverables, coordinates/schedules meetings and ensures timely follow-up and deliverables are received from project team members. Communicates with and coordinates activities to ensure project progress and completion. Manages and supports grant requirements. In coordination with the Director, ensures proper implementation and utilization of grants. Assists with tracking of grant funds, prepares reports and submits information as required. Identifies and develops strategies to optimize the grant administration process. Performs relevant research to identify available grant opportunities, evaluate the results and provide information to the Director for potential grant applications. Oversees grants ensuring proper implementation according to the operational and financial needs of the organization. Oversees invoicing, accounting, reporting and other administrative functions to ensure successful execution of grant process. Prepares financial or budget plans and allocation along with the planning and finance department in accordance with each requirement. Monitors paperwork and other related documents connected with grant-funded programs. Maintains records of all payments and receivables. Prepares monthly records for all grant related activities. Conducts Community Outreach and creates or fosters relationships with key leaders, providers and community stakeholders.

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare/public health field, and or three (3) years of experience in a public health, grant project management, community outreach or related field; or a combination of education and experience.
