Summary: 

Income Maintenance Technician II positions are responsible for initial and on-going determinations for Assistance Payments Programs such as Food Stamps, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Old Age Pension, Aid to Needy Disabled, and Medicaid.

Legal Technician II positions perform tasks relating to varied aspects of establishing and enforcing child support collections, including location, paternity establishment, collection methods, establishing and enforcing legal orders.

Duties: 

Income Maintenance Technician II positions are responsible for initial and on-going determinations for Assistance Payments Programs such as Food Stamps, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, Old Age Pension, Aid to Needy Disabled, and Medicaid. Legal Technician II positions perform tasks relating to varied aspects of establishing and enforcing child support collections, including location, paternity establishment, collection methods, establishing and enforcing legal orders.

Qualifications: 

Graduation from high school or GED equivalency.

Two years full time responsible office clerical or extensive public contact.

Satisfactory completion of an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in business, behavioral science, or appropriately related field may substitute for the required experience on a year for year basis.

Additional Requirements: 

Valid Colorado driver’s license required. Must pass a nationwide background check.
